Requirements
Yeager, Watson & Associates, LLC (YWA) is seeking a team member with 5 years or more experience for an immediate open position in Ruston, Louisiana. Licensed Architect or candidate on the path to licensure is preferred. Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office programs. Rhino 3D experience preferred. Position and role is team member and will have the benefit of working on a range of projects.
Compensation is competitive and benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, paid membership in AIA, reimbursement for annual license renewal, retirement program, in-house opportunity for continuing education, and reimbursement of ARE test fees upon receiving passing letter for unlicensed candidates.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
5+ years’ experience.
Licensed Architect or candidate on the path to licensure.
Strong attention to detail, presentation, client management and communication skills.
Strong Architectural skills in design, detailing and construction administration.
Self-motivated and with strong ethics.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Lumion, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
Responsibilities:
Reports to: Manager/Principal in Charge.
Coordinate consultant's workflow.
Set up project files and drawing sets utilizing firm standards.
Assist with leading and preparing documents for SD, DD, and CD.
Lead the CA phase for the project including site visits and shop drawings.
