Minden High School Multipurpose Building

Currently under construction is a new 43,000 sq. ft. Multipurpose Building at Minden High School. This new two-story athletic training facility sits tightly next to the existing high school and overlooks the football field. On the first floor, the facility will house a 4,000 square foot multisport weight room for racks, free weights, and cardio; areas for indoor drills; a treatment table room; a training area with hot and cold whirlpools; a multi-use dining and meeting space; separate Varsity and Freshman football locker rooms with custom club lockers; showers and restrooms; equipment storage room; coaches' office suite and locker room; commercial laundry; six classrooms; and a full size multipurpose auxiliary gymnasium. The auxiliary gymnasium will also serve as a tornado storm shelter for the entire campus as required by the International Building Code. The second floor of the building consist of six classrooms, a conference room, and staff and student support spaces.
